From the September 2–5, 2026 The basalt quarry in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden will once again serve as the venue for one of Europe's most extraordinary trade shows: the steinexpo 2026.
The international demonstration trade show for the raw materials and construction materials industry deliberately focuses on hands-on experience rather than exhibition halls. Machinery and equipment demonstrate what they can accomplish under real-world conditions right in the quarry.

Stone Quarrying LIVE at Basalt
PTH Products Maschinenbau will be at steinexpo 2026 on Booth A37 is represented and is putting two attachment-type rock crushers into live operation:
- PTH Crusher 2500 HD RS
- PTH Excavator Crusher EC-L 1400
Both machines are part of the official general demonstrations at steinexpo and can therefore be seen in action working with basalt.

PTH Crusher 2500 HD RS – The expert in hard rock
The PTH Crusher was designed for the most demanding continuous operations in materials such as Granite, basalt, concrete, or asphalt Developed. With the PTH Excavator Crusher EC-L PTH applies the technology from its large rock crushers to its excavator attachments. The combined rock crusher and milling machine is designed for excavators from 10 to 25 metric tons It is designed and engineered for use in hard rock.
