PTH Ripper
The PTH Ripper is a subsoiler for breaking up road or path surfaces in materials such as stone, concrete, asphalt, etc. with a working depth of up to 70 cm.
The main area of application of the PTH Ripper is the preparation or ripping of compacted road material or old surface for further processing with a stone crusher or milling machine.
Due to compaction of the subsoil, it is often difficult to penetrate the ground with a mounted crusher to break up the material.
The deep loosener & ripper for the toughest applications
The PTH Ripper has a much more solid and stronger design than conventional subsoilers, which are only suitable for light loosening work.
With the PTH Ripper, the subfloor is ideally prepared for the use of a stone crusher or crusher, ensuring particularly efficient results.
In agriculture, the PTH Ripper is suitable for deep loosening of the existing soil in order to loosen soil that may have been compacted by driving over it with heavy machinery. This allows oxygen to penetrate the soil, which promotes and supports soil life and humus formation and allows water to seep more easily under the plow bottom.

The specially installed PTH kinematics is a spring-loaded release mechanism that springs upwards in the event of unexpectedly high resistance (large stones, etc.), thus reducing the load on the tractor and also preventing wear on the implement itself.
In contrast to conventional systems, the PTH Ripper does not use easily breakable flat springs or shear bolts, but low-maintenance spiral springs.
The PTH Ripper is offered with 7 tines as standard. Special sizes with 4 tines, e.g. for vineyards and orchards, through to individual customization and an XXL version with an operating width of 3.5 metres are also available.
