Can rock crushers and milling machines also be used on excavators?
Yes. Hydraulically powered attachment rock crushers and milling machines are also available for excavators. They utilize the excavator’s hydraulic system and are particularly advantageous in areas where a tractor cannot reach—steep terrain, slopes, and tight construction sites. PTH offers the Excavator Crusher for excavators ranging from 5 to 25 metric tons: the EC-M for 5–14 metric tons and the EC-L for 10–25 metric tons.

Which excavators fit the PTH Excavator Crusher?
There are two models: EC-M for excavators from 5-14 t (hydraulics from 70 l/min, 250-360 bar) and EC-L for excavators from 10-25 t (hydraulics from 100 l/min, 250-360 bar).
What can the Excavator Crusher do?
The Excavator Crusher combines stone cutter, forestry mulcher, verge cutter and slope maintenance in one attachment. The hydraulic rotary rotator allows it to be turned into any position.
What safety features does the Excavator Crusher have?
The Excavator Crusher has HARDOX internal armoring, a chain curtain to protect against stone chipping and a hydraulic feed flap (EC-L). All wear parts are easy to replace.
What is the difference between EC-M and EC-L?
The EC-M is designed for medium excavators (5-14 t) with 70 l/min hydraulics, the EC-L for large excavators (10-25 t) with 100 l/min. The EC-L also has a hydraulic feed flap for thicker logs and larger stones.
